Magic to make the sanest man go mad

Magic to make the sanest man go mad is the title of the seventh episode of Star Trek: Discovery. It premiered on the 29th of October 2017 on CBS All Access and one day later worldwide on Netflix.

Harry Mudd has put the Discovery into a time loop to find out better how to activate the spore drive. With this knowledge he wants to sell the ship to the Klingons for a good price. Stamets has been immune to this time loop since contact with the tardigrade DNA and, after several attempts, manages to give the crew enough clues to outwit Mudd.
