An Obol for Charon

An Obol for Charon is the title of the 4th episode of season 2 of Star Trek: Discovery. It premiered on the 7th of February 2019 on CBS All Access and one day later worldwide on Netflix.

Story

On the way to Spock's shuttle, the Discovery encounters an old dying alien organism that keeps the ship under its control. They eventuelly find out that the alien ship does not mean any harm and they find a way to get free.

Klingon dialogues

There were no Klingons in this episode, but due a malfunction of the universal translator, Michael Burnham spoke two lines in Klingon. Captain Pike answered in French asking "Why do you speak Klingon?" ("Pourquoi parlez vous Klingon?")
