There is a new word released by Maltz at the qepHom Saarbrücken on their meeting of 25 january 2014. This word is the adjective Deq with the given meaning (be) erstwhile, former, prior, ex-. One may use this word for instance in phrases like HoD Deq ex-captain or former captain (1).

Idiomatic use

During the online interview with Marc Okrand at the qepHom, he said that there is an idiomatic use of that phrase:

Deq HoD
literally The captain is "former"
idiomatic meaning: "The captain is history."
