The FedCon is a German convention that was originally created for Star Trek fans. The name originally was "Federation Convention". Meanwhile, it is intended for all fans of science fiction and fantasy. At the moment, it is the largest convention of its kind in Europe. Every year, several Star Trek actors are present.

At the 20th anniversary in 2011, the Klingon Teacher from Germany (known as Lieven L. Litaer) has held three different lectures about the Klingon language.
