Fire OS

Fire OS is an Android-based mobile operating system designed by Amazon for use on their phone and tablets. The most notable feature of Fire OS for the Klingon language community is that it natively displays pIqaD fonts out of the box.

The Amazon Fire Phone, which runs a forked version of Android 4.4 KitKat, is able to display unicode pIqaD fonts on the web, in email, and in SMS messages. It does not come with the ability to type in pIqaD, though the installation of the quja pIqaD keyboard remedies this.
