Appearances of Klingon: on television - in movies - in the news - in commercials - in politics - in literature - Translations

Honigprinz (German: "honey prince") is the name of a small austrian apiary.

In August 2018 they created a new label, on which the word for "honey" is in multiple languages, including Klingon. The label has been designed by children book author and illustrator Dániel András.(1) Because there is no canonical klingon word für "honey", they paraphrased it with HaQchor HuH. The literal translation of which is saccharin slime, which at least comes close to the idea of what it should represent. Chemically it's wrong, but we don't have a word for saccharose.
