Markus Groß

Prof. Dr. Markus Groß (born 1962) teaches European studies and languages at the Hochschule Kaiserslautern at the facility in Zweibrücken and is also a founding member and lecturer of the Star-Trek-Lectures.


Groß is well-grounded in Klingon and is able to build full sentences with the help of a dictionary. At the first "Star Trek Lectures" in 1996, he held a lecture about the composition of the Klingon language. At qepHom 2013 he did a lecture about the topic "How in-human is Klingon", with an analysis how hard it is for Humans to speak Klingon.
