Usenet is a worldwide distributed discussion system available on computers, slightly comparable to an Email discussion Forum or a BBS, but technically quite different.

Between 1997 and 1999, Marc Okrand answered many questions providing a lot of useful new information about Klingon on three different groups based on Usenet:
