Washington Shakespeare Company Avant Bard

The Washington Shakespeare Comapany Avant Bard (short: WSC Avant Bard) is a theater in Arlington, Virginia. It was founded in 1990 named "Washington Shakespeare Company" and renamed to its current name in 2011.

Klingon

In 2005, the theater started to include klingon texts into its program by integrating parts of the Klingon Hamlet in its Shakespeare readings. At the 25th of September in 2010, it hosted a Klingon Shakespeare evening, performing some scenes from Hamlet and Much ado about nothing. George Takei read a english monologue of Julius Cesar at this evening.

At the 15th of december the WSC Avant Bard did a play reading of A Klingon Christmas Carol, at which Marc Okrand acted as Scrooge.
